A nutritious, energy-boosting breakfast is a great way to start the day. Therefore, in the Eco-Hotel La Residenza in Milan, we offer our guests a rich organic breakfast buffet. Over 90% of our products come from organic and biodynamic farming.
At the EcoHotel La Residenza, every day since 2010 we have been carefully choosing the organic and biodynamic products cultivated with full respect to nature and human well-being, and serving our guests genuine and tasty products.
Those with a sweet tooth might want to try our homemade seasonal cakes, the assortment of which includes cakes made of Kamut flour, fruit tarts, ciambella (donuts) with yoghurt , carrot cake, apple strudel, cookies, chocolate and vanilla puddings. The breakfast buffet is enriched with bio-marmalades, bio-apples, cereals and fresh fruit salad.
All our croissants are homemade with organic flour and filled with jam, bio-hazelnut or vanilla cream. Wholemeal croissants are filled with honey and wild berry jam.
Among the savoury products in the breakfast buffet, there is a selection of quiches, omelettes with seeds, mozzarella, eggs, tomatoes, salads, courgettes, potatoes, corn, various cold cuts (ham, Prague ham, Milano salami, mortadella, and even vegetables on request, depending on the season). Walnuts, hazelnuts and almonds come from our farms.
All our products are fresh and genuine, freshly prepared by our Chef. We are mindful of the quality, origin and seasonality of the ingredients we choose for our organic breakfast.
For a nutritious breakfast we offer a variety of cereals, pumpkin seeds, flax seeds, sesame seeds, poppy and sunflower seeds, fresh fruit salads with seasonal fruits, herbal infusions and really special natural sweeteners: agave syrup and stevia!
Start your day with a cup of tasty organic coffee or organic cappuccino.
In our breakfast hall there’s a corner with products from organic and biodynamic farming dedicated to children. You can find baby fruit pures, biscuits, cereals, plum juice, chocolate and barley grass powder, all served on colorful small plates.

Breakfast for people with coeliac disease
Gluten-free products symbolized by the crossed out wheat ear and dedicated to persons with celiac disease include bread, corn and rice crackers, cereals, patties, dairy-free angel food cake, rice biscuits, plus as many as 5 different types of organic milk (rice milk, vanilla soymilk, chocolate soymilk and oat milk), marmalade, jam, chocolate powder, coffee, eggs and omelettes, seasonal vegetables and cold cuts. We also have products to satisfy the needs of those with coeliac disease and lactose intolerance.
Breakfast for people with diabetes
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and when we wake up, we all need energy to face the day in good shape. We know that the breakfast for diabetics must be light and nourishing in order to avoid excessive fluctuations of blood glucose levels.
Therefore, at the Eco-Hotel La Residenza, we offer a variety of teas and herbal teas (infusions), melba toasts, wholemeal breadsticks, sugar-free cereals, low-fat yoghurt.
Breakfast for vegetarians and vegans
If you are a vegetarian or vegan, please contact our experts and they will advise you what to choose for your breakfast.
If you cannot stay at our restaurant for lunch, during the breakfast service you can ask our staff for a lunch packet to take away with you. They will solve your problem with an organic take-away lunch at an affordable price!
Our lunch packet includes two sandwiches with classic or vegetarian cold cuts, a packet of juice, and a bottle of water.
Our “Daily news” will be waiting for you every morning in the breakfast hall. This is the Eco-Hotel La Residenza newsletter with accouncements, news and curiosities about our eco-friendly hotel, news about city events, as well as recipes that you can try during your stay.
